Purpose
Physical Security Interoperability Alliance believes security system and device integration should be as simple as the plug and play interoperability that is taken for granted with computers, laptops, smartphones, televisions and stereo systems.
International manufacturers in IP-enabled security devices and system categories combine efforts with consultants, integrators and end users to develop interoperability specifications. The focus is on how devices, services and systems can easily share information and intelligence. By taking a system-level approach to specifications, PSIA delivers benefits to the security industry:
